Measurable Impact in 9-Days

This intensive was designed for people who need real change, especially veterans, first responders, and others facing anxiety, depression, sleep disruption, focus challenges, or the lingering effects of high-stress service, but who often cannot access or afford this level of specialized brain enhancement support on their own.

The Group Average More Than Doubled

53 Goals Total
Each participant personally chose and rated their own goals, which were then recorded and tracked.
100%
Every participant (100%) showed clear improvement across multiple 10-point rating scales.
111% Increase
The group average across all 53 of the 10-point measurements more than doubled.
85%
of the participant’s personal goals improved in the first week after the program.
Primary outcomes the participants aimed for included: reduced anxiety, relief from depression, better sleep quality, sharper focus, clearer thinking, increased energy, decreased irritability, greater patience, quieter unwanted racing thoughts, and related improvements in overall brain performance.
Average goal score by participant Each person set their own goals, so these are the average of that person’s own ratings before the program and again afterwards.

  8. Participant 8 4.3 7.5 +3.2pts 6 goals tracked, 6 improved. Average 4.3 to 7.5 out of 10.

Average individualized goal score

Each participant chose their own personal objectives, for example reducing anxiety, resolving serious depression, improving sleep, increasing energy, or sharpening focus. They rated themselves on a 1 to 10 scale before the program began and again approximately 10 days after the program. 10 represents the best possible state in that category; 1 represents the most severe challenge. For confidentiality, participants are identified only by number.

The program

What a 9-Day Program Actually Looks Like

We set up four fully equipped technology stations at the Silver Star complex. Participants settled in comfortably, feet up, with a blanket and pillow available, while trained technologists delivered a customized set of protocols.

Our pop-up technology stations being taken down at the end of the program.
Each Session · Approximately 2 hours

Multi-Technology Intensive Sessions

Core technologies centered on the primary EEG auditory neurofeedback combined with our customized transcranial and intranasal photobiomodulation. These were paired with additional support technologies, including carefully selected associative sounds and real-time guidance videos to support continued benefits from home. Protocols were personalized in advance for each participant based on their individual goals and assessment results.

Daily time commitment: 2 hours and 45 minutes per participant.

Pre-Program Foundation

  1. Step 1 Online Virtual Assessment, 20-30 minutes

Participants completed a detailed questionnaire and watched a short introductory video covering the EEG auditory neurofeedback system and supporting technologies.

  2. Step 2 Personal Zoom Meeting, 40-50 minutes

A technology expert reviewed goals and results, then designed a fully personalized protocol set that was uploaded for the on-site team to implement.

  3. Step 3 On-Site Delivery and Set-up

Nine days of technology sessions and guidance meetings, delivered to the participants' own local community.

The combination

Three forces, woven into one

The program fuses three carefully studied brain-improvement modalities into one proven system that has delivered remarkable results for more than 17 years. With ongoing technology upgrades and a continuous commitment to refinement, the system only grows stronger.

Cutting-edge brain technologies

Non-invasive neurotechnologies that help the brain reset, regulate, and restore itself.

Practical neuroscience

Expert-led guidance drawn from applied neuroscience and refined through work with thousands of clients.

Time-tested biblical wisdom

Traditional practices shown to strengthen brain function, mental health, and overall well-being.

Transformed Mind Project One integrated system

Why This Integrated System Works

When brain-enhancing technologies, practical neuroscience, and proven biblical wisdom are delivered together in one carefully designed system, they become naturally unified for maximum impact and lasting transformation. Each approach supports and strengthens the others, creating an integrated experience that produces the remarkable success rates and breakthroughs we could never achieve with the technologies alone. Our consistent 90%+ results appeared only after we brought all three together in this thoughtfully crafted, life-enhancing program.

A live mirror of your brain, in sound.

EEG Auditory Neurofeedback

Safe, read-only sensors pick up the brain’s live cortical activity in the form of millions of wave patterns. Within milliseconds, these wave patterns are sent to a computer application that translates the non-audible brain waves into sound. These sound waves are then reflected back to the brain through earbuds. When the brain hears itself in real time, it begins to engage with this live auditory reflection of itself. It somehow recognizes, “this is me.” Using this new information, the brain starts to self-regulate, improving its cortical balance, physically changing its chemistry, and enhancing overall function. This natural adaptation to the three-dimensional auditory reflection becomes noticeable as participants experience better sleep, calm focused energy, increased motivation, reduced anxiety, and other positive changes.

Our host

Partnering with Zero Day

The program was hosted in partnership with Zero Day, a Michigan nonprofit dedicated to empowering veterans through employment, training, housing support, and the disciplined application of military core values. Zero Day's headquarters and key operations are based at the Silver Star supportive housing community in Battle Creek, which is where we set up. Tim Hunnicutt (CEO and Co-Founder of Zero Day) went through the program himself alongside veterans he knows well.

This nine-day program is truly inspiring. I watched every veteran who went through it walk away noticeably better. I’m always looking for real ways to help vets, and this one is a winner. The Brain Life team demonstrated a tremendous amount of commitment to each participant, and I can’t say enough about the care and compassion they showed. In the veteran space we are about saving lives and improving quality of life, and David’s team is perfectly aligned with our mission.

I experienced the program myself and I’ve referred a number of people. The results have just been amazing.

Why this opportunity matters

The barrier

Cost, geographic distance, and the intensive one-on-one attention required for each participant create real barriers that keep many veterans, first responders, their families, and others in need from the tools that could help them most. Too many remain stuck in a cycle of hopelessness, emptiness, and no clear direction. With your support, we are removing these barriers and carrying this program to people who need it across the country.

What the nine days proved

Here is another nine-day experience that produced measurable positive change in the lives of eight people, change that will also benefit their families, friends, and communities. Our program, over seventeen years in the making, can travel into a trusted community setting such as Silver Star and improve individual lives, and the lives of those who love them. The Transformed Mind Project exists to expand exactly this kind of access.

One person, and the beautiful outward impact

When one person’s brain function and life improves, the people around them benefit as well. That positive change expands outward, beautifully impacting their family, friends, and their wider community.

Bring this program to your people

We can deploy the same fully staffed technology stations and guidance model to your organization, community, or group. We also welcome partnership and grant support that makes these intensive programs possible for those who need them most.
